UK Halsey Hamble join Italian group behind Millenium membranes
From Tuesday 19 February the sail loft run by John Brinkers in Hamble, UK will be part of the rapidly expanding OneSails group. OneSails, headquartered in Italy, have risen to prominence for the adoption of their Millenium product – with sails most recently seen on Russell Coutts’ RC 44, Shamrock V and UK based Farr 45's. The membranes are produced in the group’s Florence factory using carbon and Kevlar threads and a manufacturing system which ‘fuses’ the sail membrane together.
